About Us

^{Deep Creek Baptist Church, or “The Creek” as we like to call it, was established in 1778 when America was only two years old. The church was originally located in South Carolina, just a few miles away from our current location in North Carolina. In 1811, the site of the church was moved to where we are today.}

^{Our church has seen many historical events. We even have in our minutes how church services were canceled for an entire month during the Civil War because General Sherman and his troops were coming down our highway. While The Creek may be rural, she is full of young families and business professionals.} 

^{We enjoy progressive worship styles with a mix of contemporary and hymnal music, while embracing conservative Bible teaching and preaching, holding forth the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message.}
